The Sunday Times announced about recruit British medical students for Czech medical schools.

It was the idea of Hekmat kaveh, manager of the Abbey college. He argued that it would be cheaper for the UK to help fund courses in eastern Europe than to train doctors in Britain. Mr. Kaveh continued that  “It’s just not logical to run the courses in the UK when it is cheaper to pay people to study and get good degrees elsewhere.”

“our strict policy at Abbey College is to have a good mix of nationalities be it only 3-4 students from some countries. It would be easy and economical in the short term to concentrate on two or three countries only and obtain many students just from a few geographic sources but such an environment particularly for boarders is not conducive to studying the English language and experiencing an international atmosphere.”

He said: "What we have in mind, I don't believe, would jeopardise anything they are doing.

"I can understand their concern that they have a block and a little piece of it might not be owned by them.
